Linking community commitment with professional grant writing assistance has been the vision of the Center for Community Support (CCS) since its inception. Communities often have dedicated groups of people with clear, well-defined solutions to local problems but just as often lack the experience and resources necessary to effectively compete for grants to fund critical programs. All that is lacking in many cases is a small amount of strategic funding.

Therefore, the Center for Community Support’s mission is to provide a broad range of grant development services, at no cost, for Texas community-based nonprofit organizations. For more than 20 years, support has been available to pursue competitive funding for programs designed to improve the quality of life and promote safe and healthy lifestyles among the people of Texas.
