Dear Community Leader:

The TEES Center for Community Support and the Public Policy Research Institute at Texas A&M University are committed to providing data, information and technical assistance to Texas communities to improve the quality of life of all Texans.

Toward this end, the TEES Center for Community Support is developing the Texas Quality of Life Database (TxQOL) as part of its mission to inform community-based decision-makers about issues by providing valid and reliable measures for improving planning for grants and proposals.

The data in the TxQOL database are collected from a variety of sources including publications from State agencies, internet-based information systems, and  custom  reports  from State  agencies  and  other   reputable  sources. The database is envisioned to support extensive query and report capabilities. Examples of available reports are data composites rankings, and overlay maps.

Leaders of community-based organizations desiring data specific to their grant-development needs should contact The Center for Community Support at (979) 862-4508 or email: ccs@ppri.tamu.edu.
