The TEES Center for Community Support and the Public Policy
Research Institute at Texas A&M University are committed to providing data,
information and technical assistance to Texas communities to improve the quality
of life of all Texans.
Toward this end, the TEES Center for Community Support is developing the Texas
Quality of Life Database (TxQOL) as part of its mission to inform community-based
decision-makers about issues by providing valid and reliable measures for improving
planning for grants and proposals.
The data in the TxQOL database are collected from a variety of sources including publications from State agencies, internet-based information systems, and custom reports from State agencies and other reputable sources. The database is envisioned to support extensive query and report capabilities. Examples of available reports are data composites rankings, and overlay maps.
