Bibliographical Searches

TEES Center for Community Support  will conduct bibliographical searches in support of community-based projects and proposals in order to inform applications.

A Bibliographical Search...

  • is a process which results in the identification and listing of writings and publications on a particular subject, topic, or by a specific author.
  • is intended to provide citations and documents to support further inquiry prior to writing the literature review and inform community-based organizations about research related to program issues.

The Purposes of the Bibliography are to...

  • provide information such as title, publication source, and publication date of relevant works in the form of citations for exploring prior published work on a topic.
  • provide a list of sources for any non-original ideas presented in a proposal.
  • supply the reader with a guide to gaining further information on an idea.
